Southern California Solar Repair
Diagnostics, inverter repair, monitoring reconnection, panel and equipment work, battery diagnostics and restoration for existing solar systems.
MK3 Energy diagnoses, repairs, and restores the solar system you already own—whether it stopped producing, lost monitoring, has an inverter fault, or your original installer stopped answering.
Tell us the symptom. We’ll work backward from there.
Not the system someone wants to sell you. MK3 is built around diagnostics, repair, compatible monitoring reconnection, equipment service, and restoration of existing solar assets.
An “orphaned” solar system is simply a system that has lost the company that originally supported it. MK3 can assess the equipment you own and identify a practical next step.
We do not assume the old installer’s obligations or workmanship warranty. We focus on the system in front of us.
Service path for systems left without installer support.
Diagnostics, monitoring and repair support for existing systems.
Tell us what equipment is installed and what the system is doing.
We can evaluate the existing equipment within MK3’s service scope.
Existing-system diagnostics and repair, subject to equipment compatibility.
We service existing systems based on equipment and issue—not only the original installer name.
From a system that stopped producing to a monitoring app that went dark, MK3 traces the issue across the equipment you already own and recommends the next repair step.

Production issues, offline systems, unknown faults and performance loss—start by identifying the actual cause.

SolarEdge, Enphase, SMA, Fronius and other supported equipment—error diagnosis, repair or replacement path.

App offline, account access lost, or gateway not reporting? Restore compatible manufacturer monitoring where possible.

Panel faults, wiring, optimizers, microinverters, junctions and other physical or electrical system components.

Confirmed service capability includes Tesla, Enphase and SolarEdge battery systems, with diagnosis based on system condition.

For inactive, interrupted or partially working systems that need multiple issues resolved to return to practical operation.
Production can drop because of inverter faults, failed optimizers or microinverters, wiring issues, monitoring loss, damaged equipment, or a combination of problems. MK3 starts with diagnostics and follows the evidence.
You already invested in solar. MK3’s role is to assess the system you own, explain what is wrong, and provide a repair or restoration path when practical.
“Your current system is old. Let’s price a new one.”
“What is the system doing, what equipment do you have, and what does the diagnosis show?”
Diagnostics, inverter and equipment repair, monitoring reconnection, battery diagnostics and existing-system restoration.
MK3 currently serves Southern California—including the Inland Empire and select Los Angeles-area calls—plus the San Antonio, Texas metro. Service availability is confirmed by address, repair scope and technician routing.
Diagnostics, inverter repair, monitoring reconnection, panel and equipment work, battery diagnostics and restoration for existing solar systems.
Existing-system repair support across the San Antonio metro, with service focused on diagnostics and restoring the equipment already on the home.
MK3’s positioning is intentionally simple: transparent diagnostics, an experienced repair team, documented licensing, and service for the solar system already on your home.
Clear answers to the questions homeowners most often have before requesting solar repair service.
No. MK3 Energy provides residential solar diagnostics, repair, restoration, monitoring reconnection, battery diagnostics, and equipment service for existing systems. MK3 does not install new solar systems.
Yes, subject to equipment compatibility and service-area availability. MK3 is specifically positioned to help homeowners whose original installer closed, filed bankruptcy, or stopped responding.
MK3 has confirmed service capability across SolarEdge, Enphase, Tesla, SMA, Fronius and other equipment. The exact repair path depends on the system configuration, diagnosis, parts availability and manufacturer requirements.
The diagnostic fee is $250 and includes the trip fee; there is no separate trip charge. If additional repair work is recommended after diagnosis, MK3 provides a customer proposal before that work proceeds.
Manufacturer coverage may still apply, but eligibility, transferability, exclusions, labor coverage and claim requirements are determined by the manufacturer and your specific warranty terms. MK3 should never promise that a warranty will pay before those terms are confirmed.
The confirmed primary markets are California’s Inland Empire—including San Bernardino, Riverside, Ontario, Moreno Valley and Temecula—and the San Antonio, Texas metro area, generally within a confirmed maximum drive distance of 60 miles.
Share the basics about the system, the issue you are seeing, and where service is needed. MK3 will use those details to route your request.
